Trailblazer – better browser history

Add this to the list of ideas I\’ve had but wasn\’t able to implement (OK, fine, the chances that I had this idea first are slim, but it feels nice to pretend.)

Trailblazer is a very lightweight browser for Mac that has a great graphical interface for looking at your history. It shows all the pages you\’ve been to and linked to as thumbnails in a hierarchical diagram, so it\’s easy to figure out how you got to a certain page, and how to get back there.

My idea was to do this, and combine it with a full-featured search function for browser histories, so that you\’d never again have to wander the history list looking for a Web page you didn\’t bookmark.

As a standalone browser, it\’s a little weak, but it won\’t be long before the graphic history functionality is incorporated into more complete browsers like Safari of Firefox.

Other ideas I like to pretend I had first:
- In-car satellite guided navigation
- Magnet-powered cars
- Prosthetic eyes (as I recall, I had a small paddle-wheel type generator in the veins to power the device, hey, I was 10, give me a break)
